Join now with Prairie College’s Board of Directors in propelling the new Residence Project forward.
September to December 2024
Dear Alumni of Prairie College,
We have fantastic alumni! We thank God regularly for you as a whole group, for the work each one of you is doing in your chosen corner of the world, and for the work God is doing through you. I have heard many stories of your global impact, and I have experienced this impact first hand as I have been blessed to work side by side with your members on the mission field. I humbly thank God for the privilege of serving on this Board, serving you, and serving our Lord Jesus.
I am excited to announce a special 4X Alumni Matching Campaign that will run from September to December 2024. It is an innovative idea that would have us work together (Alumni and Board) to help set Prairie on a good footing for the next several decades.
Every dollar you, as Alumni, contribute to the capital campaign for the new Student Residence will be matched by our Board of Directors and then doubled again by a generous donor. For example, this would turn a $500 donation into $2,000, or $5,000 into $20,000! Our goal is to raise $273,000 in new donations from Alumni, which, with these matches, will become $1,092,000.
This Alumni-Board joint-initiative is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our students’ lives by helping us complete the new student residence. Here is a brief concept video of the changes we are planning for the campus, the residence is the first major step in the plan. This is where tomorrow’s missional professionals will live and train…please join us in making this campaign a success.
With a grateful heart,
Joshua Bogunjoko
Board Chair

Do you have a tangible asset (real estate or physical property) that you no longer need or you think would enhance Prairie’s program? Rather than sell the asset you could gift it. Prairie would be able to issue you a tax donation receipt for the sale value of the property or value determined by a qualified third-party appraisal. There are some ‘hoops to jump through’ and Canada Revenue Agency rules to follow, but we’ve done it before and would be happy to guide you through the process.
