Momentum continues to build on Prairie’s campus. We are entering an inspired new phase of development, transforming our physical space to better serve our mission. The new Worship and Arts Auditorium will draw the Prairie community together to personally and corporately worship God.
Repurposing for a Higher Purpose
The center of this vision is the transformation of the current Sanford Hanson Dining Hall into a 750-seat Worship and Arts Auditorium. This modernized gathering space will provide a much-needed venue for:
Prairie urgently needs this new auditorium to complement its existing facilities, providing a sanctuary that reflects our commitment to excellence in the arts and devotion to the Lord.
The Path Forward: The Cafeteria Catalyst
To unlock the potential of the new Auditorium, we must first relocate our dining services. The next phase of the Campaign will launch with the construction of a new cafeteria in the former Oasis Café space, conveniently located beside Heritage Hall.
By building this modern, efficient cafeteria, we make way for the transformation of the Dining Hall. Together, these developments represent a significant step in enhancing student life and expanding Prairie’s capacity to serve both current and future generations.

We invite you to invest in the future of Prairie College students. Your support helps us build more than just walls; it builds a foundation for discipleship and community.
This project is about more than just buildings; it is about shaping a vibrant, Christ-centred community for years to come. Your investment today builds the stage for tomorrow’s leaders to encounter God.

Do you have a tangible asset (real estate or physical property) that you no longer need or you think would enhance Prairie’s program? Rather than sell the asset you could gift it. Prairie would be able to issue you a tax donation receipt for the sale value of the property or value determined by a qualified third-party appraisal. There are some ‘hoops to jump through’ and Canada Revenue Agency rules to follow, but we’ve done it before and would be happy to guide you through the process.
